Richard DiMarchi, PhD, Distinguished Professor of Chemistry and Gill Chair of Biomolecular Sciences, Indiana University, and former Group Vice President of Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk talks about his experiences as an entrepreneur that ultimately led to his induction into the National Inventors Hall of Fame. Hear firsthand about the unique and yet overlapping research activities observed across the development value chain that typically progresses from academic laboratories to transitional biotechnology start-ups to development-focused international pharmaceutical companies.
